The Department of Applied Mathematics together with the Center for Mathematical Modeling of the Y.S. Pidstryhach Institute of Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine founded in 2014the English-language scientific journal "Mathematical Modeling and Computing" https://science.lpnu.ua/mmc(ISSN: 2312-9794 (Print), 2415-3788 (Online)).

The journal is currently published four times a year (from 2014 to 2020 - twice a year). The journal has been indexed by the Index Copernicus scientometric database since 2015. Since 2014, all articles have been indexed by the Scopus scientometric database, but scientometric indicators have been calculated since 2019: in 2019, the journal belonged to the Q4 quartile in the fields of Computational Mathematics and Computational Theory and Mathematics, since 2020 the journal belonged to the Q3 quartile in the fields of Computational Mathematics and Q4 in the field of Computational Theory and Mathematics, according to the results of 2022, the journal entered the Q3 quartile in two subject areas at once - Computational Mathematics and Computational Theory and Mathematics.

The journal contains researches and reviews on the following issues in the field of mathematical modeling and computer science

1. mathematical modeling of non-equilibrium and nonlinear processes;
2. mathematical modeling and simulation of mass transfer processes;
3. mathematical models of interconnected fields;
4. mathematical models in deformed solids;
5. Numerical methods and software for mathematical modeling problems.

The publication of articles is free of charge.
