Dual education

The Institute of Applied Mathematics and Basic Sciences is now accepting applicants for a joint educational program with SoftServe - the Applied Mathematics and Informatics program.

Students enrolled in the Applied Mathematics program combine fundamental education with real-world experience of the company. Students also have the opportunity to work with real projects, which will be credited to them as university credits.

The program makes students a part of the IT community from the very first days at the university. They learn how to work effectively in a team under the mentorship of SoftServe, receive only relevant knowledge, and will be able to add a demo version of the project to their future portfolio as a result of the practice they have gained.

How to combine university studies and work in an IT company? Only a person who has gone through this journey can tell you about it. We sharean interview with Maksym Cook- a student of the joint educational program "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" with SoftServe.

The benefits of the program also include

  1. practical skills for work in the company;
  2. mentoring from SoftServe experts;
  3. ability to work both in a team and alone;
  4. knowledge of the structure, projects, and teams in IT;
  5. self-organization skills, which are necessary for both work and study;
