The Department of Applied Mathematics at Lviv Polytechnic National University actively develops its international relations. It allows students to gain experience studying abroad, participating in scholarship programs and summer schools, and fulfilling their scientific ambitions in cooperation with leading universities in Europe.

University of L’Aquila (Italy)

There is an agreement between Lviv Polytechnic National University and University of L’Aquila (Italy) on a double degree program. According to this agreement, master’s students of the educational programs “Applied Mathematics” and “Information and Communication Technologies” have the opportunity to study for two semesters at a prestigious Italian university and, simultaneously with the Ukrainian master’s degree, receive an Italian master’s degree in mathematical engineering.

Lviv Polytechnic is a member of the international RealMaths Consortium, which unites 17 universities from Ukraine, Italy, Canada, Poland, Germany, Vietnam, and Ghana. The goal is the joint training of specialists in Mathematics for Real World Applications.

Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany)

Lviv Polytechnic National University has an agreement with Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) on the exchange of students under scholarship programs. Within this agreement, bachelor’s students majoring in “Applied Mathematics” can participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programs. Studying at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at one of the leading technical universities in Germany, students acquire new knowledge, improve their skills, and get acquainted with another country’s culture and educational approaches.

Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland)

The Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences at Lviv Polytechnic National University closely cooperates with Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland) through international online mobility. Students from the Department of Applied Mathematics can participate in various projects and take online courses at the Polish university. After successful completion, they receive an internationally recognized certificate. This form of cooperation improves students’ professional competence and integration into the international educational environment, opening up new opportunities for career growth.
